If you enjoy the article, if you like/love what you read, etc. Tell me where's the begging there as if one is putting a knife under the reader's neck. Whoever wishes to subscribe and become a member, does so willingly and convincingly.

As a professional marketer, I don't see any selling here where your calling to action (CTA) is fundamental.
