Tom, thank you for your point of view. But one thing: Tim Denning, like the few elite writers you mentioned, has scaled through the hallway of a bad or good writer to a GREAT writer. All that matters in the world we live in today is getting up there. Let's face it, can any bank or financial institutions turn down or decline Donald Trump or any of the well-known tech CEOs a loan as it happens to normal people like many of us? The answer is capital NO. Tim Denning like the rest of them fought hard to be where they're today. I think Medium wants every one of us to go through the same hard way.
